Ambu A/S seeks an Engineer Technician for its Mexico manufacturing site to support the production of medical devices. The role focuses on translating, testing, production-pilot activities, transfer, installation, validation, startup and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.

The position requires 1-3 years of relevant experience, familiarity with GR&R, SVs, engineering studies and protocols, and a strong ability to train production staff while ensuring

Formación

• Associates degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience performing engineer technician duties.
• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Familiar with GR&R, SVs, engineering studies and protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to reduce the launch time
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such as: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

Educación

Associates degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical / Manufacturing or equivalent

1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge

Experience in the medical device industry

Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng.Studies, Protocols (Preferred)

In the job as Engineer Technician, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.

Objective:
The Engineer Technician is responsible for providing engineering support for translate, testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Assist MFG Engineer in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to reduce the launch time
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such as: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.

Authority

• Reject change orders thru the design change system.

Performance Criteria

• Knowledge of NPI Process/Development (preferred)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general new product/manufacturing/quality procedures or medical regulations.
• Ability to write Completion Reports or Engineering Studies, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate various types of testing and CAD data.
• Ability to write test and interpret CAD data.

Qualifications / Education

• An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng.Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
