Your Team Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Private Capital Solutions Senior Associate to join our Client Coverage organization in Monterrey, Mexico.

In this role, you will lead a team who is at the forefront of solving complex client inquiries for asset managers and asset owners leveraging our Private Capital Solutions product suite. Clients use our solutions to analyze performance, monitor exposures, model future cashflows, manage liquidity, and perform investment due diligence in addition to other critical portfolio management activities.

The MSCI Global Client Service team is composed of experienced financial professionals that provide first tier support for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for responding to a wide variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on both analytical and benchmark products. Client contact is primarily via telephone and email, but occasional travel may be required for on‑site presentations or trainings. Client Service team members work closely with account managers and consultants to develop and maintain client relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Analysts and Associates who provide clients product training and address clients' product-related inquiries, ensuring high-quality service is consistently provided
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of MSCI's Private Capital Solutions product suite and how our products fit into client organizations and their processes
  • Able to lead client trainings, address client inquiries, and manage client escalations
  • Drive process improvement from identifying solutions thorough to solution implementation
  • Mentor team members and support their continued career growth
  • Coordinate with Client Coverage and Product Management to help shape the product roadmap
  • Maintain positive, team-oriented attitude while motivating others
  • Serve as an escalation resource both within Client Service and across other business functions
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields is a plus, but not required)
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in client-facing roles within asset management, financial services, and/or fintech
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Portfolio analysis, performance measurement, private capital, or domain expertise in investment analytics is a plus
  • Track record of excelling in an environment of ambiguity by quickly adapting behavior and work methods to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Progress towards CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or FRM a plus
