Job summary

Sequoia Connect LLC seeks a Pricefx Specialist to lead end-to-end configuration of Pricefx modules and to implement pricing strategies across global teams. You will design Groovy logic, manage data feeds, and collaborate with Sales, Revenue Mgmt, and Finance to translate pricing rules into precise technical specs.

We value a high-performance mindset, strong ERP integration experience (SAP S/4HANA), and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on Pricefx implementation/configuration.
• Proficient in Groovy scripting and Pricefx architecture.
• 2+ years in FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing pricing.
• Strong experience with REST/JSON and ERP integrations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Deep understanding of pricing structures: list price, rebates, trade spend.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration and maintenance of Pricefx modules (Price Setting, Analytics, TPM).
• Design and test Groovy logic and pricing formulas within Pricefx.
• Manage data ingestion, mappings, and data feeds between Pricefx and ERP/warehouses.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to translate pricing strategies into technical specs.
• Troubleshoot calculations, optimize performance for high-volume SKU data, manage releases.

We are currently searching for a: Pricefx Specialist:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Lead the end-to-end functional configuration and technical maintenance of core Pricefx modules, including Price Setting, Analytics, Rebates, and Trade Promotion Management (TPM).
• Design, implement, and test custom Groovy logic, pricing formulas, price grids, and approval workflows within the Pricefx platform.
• Manage data ingestion, integration mappings, and API data feeds seamlessly between Pricefx, our backend SAP/ERP, and commercial data warehouses.
• Partner with commercial leadership (Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Finance) to translate complex pricing strategies, trade promotion rules, and discount structures into precise technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot system calculation issues, optimize execution performance for high-volume SKU data, and manage release deployments.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• 3–5+ years of direct, hands‑on experience implementing, configuring, or administering the Pricefx platform.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting and Pricefx-specific architectural concepts (Pricefx Logic, Data Feeds, Data Sources).
• 2+ years of industry experience in Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, or Manufacturing commercial pricing practices.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns (REST APIs, JSON, ETL data pipelines) specifically connecting Pricefx with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong foundation in CPG/FMCG pricing structures (list price, trade spend, net-net price, off‑invoice discounts, and rebate structures).
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
