Job summary

Sequoia Connect LLC is seeking a Pricefx Specialist to join a globally distributed team on remote opportunities. You will own end-to-end Pricefx configuration, data integrations with SAP S/4HANA, and price governance for FMCG/CPG sectors, collaborating with Sales and Finance to implement pricing strategies and rebates.

You will optimize system performance for high-volume SKUs, troubleshoot issues, and support release deployments while aligning pricing with business objectives and compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years implementing or administering Pricefx.
• Strong Groovy scripting and Pricefx architecture knowledge.
• Experience connecting Pricefx with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and data feeds.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional configuration and maintenance of Pricefx modules (Price Setting, Analytics, Rebates, TPM).
• Design and test Groovy logic, pricing formulas, price grids and approval workflows.

We are currently searching for a: Pricefx Specialist:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Lead the end-to-end functional configuration and technical maintenance of core Pricefx modules, including Price Setting, Analytics, Rebates, and Trade Promotion Management (TPM).
• Design, implement, and test custom Groovy logic, pricing formulas, price grids, and approval workflows within the Pricefx platform.
• Manage data ingestion, integration mappings, and API data feeds seamlessly between Pricefx, our backend SAP/ERP, and commercial data warehouses.
• Partner with commercial leadership (Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Finance) to translate complex pricing strategies, trade promotion rules, and discount structures into precise technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot system calculation issues, optimize execution performance for high-volume SKU data, and manage release deployments.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• 3-5+ years of direct, hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or administering the Pricefx platform.
• Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting and Pricefx-specific architectural concepts (Pricefx Logic, Data Feeds, Data Sources).
• 2+ years of industry experience in Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, or Manufacturing commercial pricing practices.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns (REST APIs, JSON, ETL data pipelines) specifically connecting Pricefx with ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong foundation in CPG/FMCG pricing structures (list price, trade spend, net-net price, off-invoice discounts, and rebate structures).
• High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
• Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
• Desired Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
• Languages Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams. Advanced Spanish.
