Brown-Forman Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Mexico to ensure operational continuity of equipment and services. The role focuses on planning preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance while coordinating with safety, quality, and production teams to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.

Responsibilities include managing maintenance plans in eMaint, ensuring asset coverage, and leading cost control and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering as stated.
• Technical proficiency in SAP, eMaint, CAD, and office tools.

• Maintenance Planning System Management: lead maintenance plans in eMaint and ensure 100% asset coverage.
• Compliance and Safety: adhere to Safety and Environmental procedures during maintenance activities.
• Performance and Improvement: monitor maintenance KPIs and drive improvement plans.
• Inventory and Logistics: manage spare parts inventory and define logistics strategies with Warehouse.

The Maintenance Planner is a critical role for ensuring operational efficiency at Casa Herradura. Meaningful Work From Day One

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of Brown-Forman’s equipment, processes, and services. This is achieved through the efficient planning and scheduling of all maintenance types (preventive, corrective, and predictive).

What You Can Expect

• Maintenance Planning System Management:
  • Lead the development and updating of maintenance plans in eMaint, ensuring 100% asset coverage.
  • Design and implement a three-level communication system for maintenance plans (technical, supervisory, and managerial).
  • Balance the technical team’s workload and collaborate on critical task completion, including adherence to HACCP procedures.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure the strict application of all Safety and Environmental procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate external maintenance activities.
• Performance and Improvement:
  • Generate and monitor key Maintenance Planning indicators (Reliability, Availability, Backlog, MTTR, etc.).
  • Lead the analysis of results to define and execute effective improvement plans.
• Inventory and Logistics:
  • Ensure the accuracy and updating of the spare parts inventory.
  • Define kitting and logistics strategies in coordination with the Warehouse team.
• Financial Management:
  • Develop and monitor the maintenance budget.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and production areas.

• Tracking and comprehensive development of various critical operational elements.

• Schedule Management: Creating, monitoring, and optimizing detailed operational schedules to ensure timely execution of all tasks and projects, minimizing downtime, and maximizing efficiency.

• Procedure Development: Drafting, refining, and standardizing comprehensive operational procedures, work instructions, and best practices to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance across all activities.

• Costing Analysis: Developing accurate cost models, performing detailed financial tracking, and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects and operations remain within budget and provide optimal financial performance.

• Program Implementation: Managing and advancing various continuous improvement programs, maintenance initiatives, and strategic projects from conception through to successful implementation and sustainment.

• Process Excellence: Championing a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing existing workflows, identifying areas for efficiency gains, and applying methodologies to achieve peak process performance and operational robustness.

What Makes You Unique

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering.

• Skills: SAP, eMaint, Advanced Office, CAD

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including proven experience in planning and leading technical teams.
