Farmers Group Inc. in Mexico seeks an Actuarial Predictive Analytics Analyst II to drive forward-looking financial insights using data, SQL, Python or R, and modern analytics tools.

You will work with data pipelines, model development, and stakeholder communications to influence decisions across pricing, underwriting, and claims domains. This early-career role offers exposure to executive leadership, a fast-evolving analytics function, and opportunities for growth through hands-on project work

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Insurance industry background preferred but not mandatory.
• Actuarial knowledge or qualification is a plus.
• Advanced SQL and ETL/data pipeline development experience.
• Proficient in Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with Snowflake data warehousing.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to development and implementation of predictive analytics for key business decisions.
• Apply statistical techniques to build models and generate insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations.
• Perform data extraction, preparation, and integration across sources.
• Use SQL and Python/R to analyze large datasets and create solutions.
• Evaluate model performance and drive improvements.
• Design reports and visualizations to communicate insights and track metrics.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for emerging business questions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and clearly tell the data story.
• Build understanding of enterprise data landscape across finance and claims.
