Valeo in San Luis Potosí is seeking a Logistics Trainee/Apprentice in a part-time, fixed-term role to support lean logistics and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

You will assist in process mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and KPI tracking, develop SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining hands-on experience in SAP, Excel, Power BI.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Active student status with valid university health insurance is required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, JIT) and supply chain processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support Lean Logistics & 5S initiatives, layout design, and ergonomics on the shop floor.
• Assist in Value Stream Mapping to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Participate in Kaizen workshops and QRQC projects to resolve deviations.
• Track KPIs like line stop risk, cycle times, and inventory accuracy.
• Help write and update SOPs and standard work for warehouse operators.
