Magna International in Mexico is seeking a finance-oriented student to join the Cost and Financial Analysis area as an intern. You will support cost reporting, inventory analysis, and data integrity, contributing to reliable reports for decision making.

This role offers hands-on experience in costs, finance and accounting, plus training and development, with opportunities to grow within Magna Exteriors. Presencial modality provides exposure to real manufacturing cost environments and

Formación

• Active student in the final semesters of Accounting.
• Desirable academic or internship experience in costs, finance, inventory, or data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Cost area in analysis, control, and reporting of financial and operational data related to production costs.
• Assist with inventories and warehouse movements data.
• Prepare and update cost reports for decision making.
• Contribute to monthly cost closings.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances.
• Maintain and update cost-related databases and control files.
• Generate metrics and reports for the finance and cost area.
• Support reconciliations of financial and operational information.

Job Responsibilities

Objetivo del Puesto

Apoyar al área de Costos en el análisis, control y seguimiento de información financiera y operativa relacionada con los costos de producción, materiales, inventarios y gastos, contribuyendo a la generación de reportes confiables para la toma de decisiones.

Requisitos

Escolaridad

• Estudiante activo de los últimos semestres de:
  • Contaduría

Experiencia

• No indispensable.
• Deseable experiencia académica o prácticas profesionales relacionadas con costos, finanzas, inventarios o análisis de información.

Conocimientos

• Excel intermedio o avanzado (tablas dinámicas, fórmulas, búsqueda de datos).
• Manejo de bases de datos.
• Conocimientos básicos de contabilidad de costos.
• Análisis financiero básico.
• Deseable conocimiento de ERP (SAP o similar).

Principales Responsabilidades

• Apoyar en la elaboración y actualización de reportes de costos.
• Analizar variaciones de consumo de materiales, mano de obra y gastos indirectos.
• Dar seguimiento a la información de inventarios y movimientos de almacén.
• Apoyar en conciliaciones de información financiera y operativa.
• Generar indicadores y reportes para el área.
• Colaborar en cierres mensuales relacionados con costos.
• Realizar análisis de datos para identificar desviaciones y oportunidades de mejora.
• Mantener actualizadas las bases de datos y archivos de control.
