Dematic in Mexico is seeking a proactive Procurement Intern to join our Supply Chain team. You will support procurement activities, material planning, and inventory management to ensure material availability for production while maintaining optimal stock levels.

This internship provides hands-on experience with ERP systems, supplier management, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. It is ideal for students pursuing careers in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations and offers

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken) are required.
• Ability to communicate with international suppliers via email and virtual meetings.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support material requirements planning based on production schedules and demand.
• Manage and analyze Open Orders and Open Requisition reports.
• Track, update, and report departmental KPIs.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and support improvement initiatives.
• Assist in engineering change analysis and implementation activities.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and shortages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on procurement and supply chain processes.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support material requirements planning based on production schedules and customer demand.
• Manage and analyze Open Orders and Open Requisition reports.
• Track, update, and report departmental KPIs.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and support adherence improvement initiatives.
• Assist in engineering change analysis and implementation activities.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages, and reducing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure material availability and supply continuity.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on procurement and supply chain processes.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis to support decision‑making.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:
• Supply Chain Management
• Logistics
• Business Administration
• Or a related field
• Preferred: Students in their 5th to 7th semester.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers through email and virtual meetings.
