EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking a Powertrain Development Specialist to drive engine component development and support cost optimization initiatives.

You will manage documentation and traceability, coordinate engine and battery component projects, monitor testing, and help with release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress tracking.

Fluent English is required, with German A2 desirable, and a background in automotive engineering is preferred to join a global development team.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in engine components development.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their peripherals.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluids.
• Basic knowledge of design programs: Pro-E, Catia, Creo.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage documentation and traceability of technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop proposals and provide supporting data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Track prototype and validation parts throughout the development process.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure timely follow-up on results, findings, and required actions.
