KBR, Inc. is seeking a Power Plant Electrician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of medium- and low-voltage power systems at the Diego Garcia facility. You will work to keep generation and distribution reliable, compliant with OSHA/NFPA standards, and maintain thorough maintenance records.

The role requires diagnostic skills, preventive/corrective maintenance, and coordination with control technicians to support 24/7 plant operations.

Formación

• Three (3) years of documented electrical experience in power generation, industrial, or utility environments.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems is required.
• Fluent in English; valid driver's license required.
• Physically capable of performing job duties and working shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical power generation and distribution systems.
• Perform electrical maintenance on generators, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, protective relays, and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per procedures and schedules.
• Safely perform work on energized systems in compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E and site procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and control technicians to support continuous operations.
