Descripción de la vacante

WireCo WorldGroup in Mexico maintains plant machinery and electrical/electronic systems with a focus on troubleshooting, PLC programming, drives, VFDs, and HMIs. The technician ensures safe, reliable operation through preventive and corrective maintenance and adherence to quality standards.

Role requires independence, safety compliance, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to meet production goals.

Formación

Technical degree or diploma in electronics, mechatronics, control & automation, electrical, maintenance, or related field.
2–3 years of industrial maintenance, electronics, automation, or related field.

Responsabilidades

Receive shift handover information and review pending maintenance activities.
Verify and monitor the condition of control rooms, electrical rooms, and mezzanine areas.
Attend work orders, perform corrective actions, and close orders.
Perform daily maintenance routines and inspect cooling systems.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic failures in industrial equipment and control systems.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, Drives, VFDs, HMIs, and other control systems.
Maintain backups of PLC, HMI, and Drive programs and parameters.
Prepare daily maintenance logs and shift handovers.
