The role bridges business leaders, underwriting, and engineering to deliver measurable outcomes, translating strategy into a prioritized backlog and leading end-to-end delivery of underwriting solutions. Collaboration with senior stakeholders is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a Product Owner/Platform Owner/Product Manager role in insurance, financial services, or related tech domains.
• Proven ability to combine domain knowledge with product and digital know-how.
• Experience launching digital products end-to-end and leading delivery teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with senior executives.

Job Description

KEY OBJECTIVE

The Technical Platform Owner is responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the auto insurance platforms across Chubb's Digital Transformation. This role ensures that product direction aligns with business objectives, advances Chubb's underwriting craftsmanship and expertise digitally, and delivers measurable outcomes to customers, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders.

The Technical Platform Owner acts as the bridge between business leaders, underwriting teams, and engineering squads — translating strategy into a prioritized, actionable backlog and leading end-to-end delivery of auto underwriting solutions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing a clear vision, ensuring it reflects the strategic goals of Chubb's digital transformation agenda in Auto business and delivers excellence to customers through technology.
• Owning holistic team performance against business objectives and outcomes, balancing cross‑functional inputs from engineering, design, business, and operations to set and sustain a coherent product direction.
• Defining, refining, and prioritizing user stories, epics, and tasks daily, including leading backlog interactions with adjacent delivery units and shared platform teams.
• Creating, maintaining, and continuously prioritizing the team backlog using inputs from stakeholders, customers, and the delivery team, ensuring the squad always works on the highest‑value items.
• Specifying acceptance criteria for each user story and authoring acceptance tests that give the team a clear definition of done grounded in business intent.
• Facilitating sprint planning sessions to reaffirm priorities, negotiate capacity, and align on business requirements for each iteration.
• Facilitating release planning with stakeholders and actively participating in all sprint ceremonies to keep delivery cadence tight and feedback loops short.
• Working with Business Stakeholders and Process Engineering partners to define well‑structured OKRs, to track solution progress, and measure outcomes.
• Observing, researching, and directly engaging end users of the platform to deeply understand their needs, then communicating those needs clearly and concisely to the delivery team.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across underwriting, operations, technology, and senior leadership, acting as a trusted voice on platform capabilities and roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• IT professional with 5+ years in a Product Owner, Platform Owner, or Product Manager role within insurance, financial services, or related technology domains.
• Demonstrated ability to combine deep financial or insurance domain knowledge with product and digital know‑how, including experience with tech solutions, processes, and partnerships.
• Proven capacity to operate both strategically — setting direction and communicating roadmap to senior leaders — and tactically, working daily at the story and task level with delivery teams.
• Experience managing and launching digital or technology products end‑to‑end, and the development teams, from concept through production.
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions, with strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Experience designing and evaluating customer journeys and digital experience flows with a clear understanding of insurance industry expectations for clients, distribution partners, and employees.
• Working knowledge of modern technology stacks and the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams on architectural trade‑offs and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable and credible when presenting to senior executives and cross‑functional leaders.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience working with AI assisted technology implementations in the SDLC is a plus.
