Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform team in Guadalajara. You will design, build, and own the backend APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, and the public TTS API, serving millions of users across iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome, and Web.

You will optimize services for speed and cost, automate work, and contribute to enterprise integrations. Experience with TypeScript/Node, GCP, and containerized deployments is preferred; remote collaboration is standard in Speechify’s

• Backend exp with TypeScript/Node.js.
• GCP experience; AWS/Azure knowledge.
• Automation and reliability mindset.
• Ability to describe AI agent workflows and monitoring.
• Good judgment on what not to build; avoid overengineering.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and own APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and the public TTS API.
• Improve services to be faster, cheaper, and more reliable.
• Validate changes with tests and monitoring before shipping.
• Automate repetitive tasks to free up engineers.
• Create reusable components the team can reuse.
