Garrett - Advancing Motion is seeking an Operations and Logistics professional to ensure seamless material flows, plan local supplier activities, and manage escalations to meet delivery and inventory targets.

The role requires 2+ years in operations/supply chain, knowledge of SAP and planning processes, and fluent English (European language a plus). You will work with global teams to optimize performance in a demanding automotive environment.

Formación

• Min. 2 years on Operations and Supply Chain experience.
• Experience with customers, suppliers, sales or logistics in automotive is preferable.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Knowledge of SAP, MHS modules, LMS, O9, and related processes (Demand planning, SIOP, MPS, BOM, MRP) and MS Office.
• Ability to cooperate with Global SC team.
• Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan reports and analyses.
• Knowledge of production planning and inventory.
• Fluent in English; another European language is a plus.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Handle multiple tasks at once; work well under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure seamless logistics and planning activities and act as the cross-functional contact.
• Track and trace material physical flows and manage MRP run & planning for local suppliers.
• Approve/reject COPQ, OTTR & OPD for locally planned suppliers.
• Manage premium freights for locally managed suppliers.
• Verify received quantities against schedules, bills of lading, and ASN.
• Identify excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and resolve with teams.
• Assist planning leader in problems related to over shipments, shortages, changes, and cancellations.
• Perform other duties per management assignment.
• Adhere to Garrett conduct attributes and meet manager-set performance objectives.
• Collaborate with Global SC on continuous improvement initiatives if applicable

Job Description

Main role in ensuring seamless logistics and planning activities, acting as point of contact between cross functions and stakeholders, ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated and accurately delivered on time, every time. Using agility and ability to cover customer demand, to solve escalations and achieve metrics, and help with improving processes and drive inventory targets.

• As part of Site Supply Chain is responsible to track and trace material's physical flows.
• Responsible for MRP run & planning activities for local suppliers
• Responsible for COPQ activities, OTTR & OPD approval/rejections for locally plan suppliers
• Responsible for premium freights for suppliers which are managed locally.
• Reviews and verifies quantities received against schedules, bills of landing, purchase requests, shipping documents and checks consistencies with ASN (Advanced shipping notification)
• Identifies excess, slow move and obsolete inventory issues and resolves them along with Physical Flow and Inventory Analyst
• Assists Planning Leader in resolving problems concerning over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders
• Performs other duties as per assignment from direct management
• Acts according to the Garrett conduct attributes and fulfils the performance objectives established by the manager through the MYR system

Requirements

• Min. 2 years on Operations and Supply chain business experience
• Experience in working with customer, suppliers, sales or logistics in the automotive industry as preferable
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Knowledge of SAP, MHS moduls, LMS, O9, processes (Demand planning, SIOP, MPS, BOM, MRP) and Microsoft Office applications
• Cooperation with Global SC team
• Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan reports & analysis
• Basic knowledge of production plan and inventory
• Fluent in English, another european language as an advantage
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Handle multiple tasks at a time
