Dauch Corporation in Celaya, Guanajuato, seeks a Plant Senior Engineer – Product & Process to drive manufacturing excellence by developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions that enhance product quality, process performance, and equipment reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to analyze data, support new product and process launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment while ensuring safety and efficiency across operations.

Formación

  • Associate Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years in manufacturing, production or process engineering roles with independent work experience.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methods and problem-solving tools.

Job Posting Title Plant Senior Engineer - Product & Process Job Description Summary Role Purpose The Plant Senior Technician – Product & Process supports manufacturing excellence by developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions that enhance product quality, process performance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency. The role partners closely with engineering teams to analyze data, troubleshoot technical issues, support new product and process launches, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation, validation, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and production systems.
  • Perform technical testing, inspections, and troubleshooting activities to ensure product and process performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and technical documentation to support operational decision‑making.
  • Participate in product and process development activities, including trials, validations, and implementation of engineering changes.
  • Identify root causes of technical and operational issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Support project execution through planning, monitoring, and coordination of assigned activities.
  • Optimize equipment utilization, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and prioritize assigned activities to meet production and business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operators and other plant personnel when required.

1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, process engineering, maintenance, quality, or related technical roles. Experience working independently in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools is preferred.
