Dauch Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Finished Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team and drive reliability across production equipment. You will develop and manage preventive programs, diagnose complex issues, and coordinate with production and quality to keep lines running smoothly.

The role emphasizes safety and compliance with ISO/GMP/IATF standards, with CMMS-based tracking and cost-conscious budgeting. Strong leadership and engineering background required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing maintenance with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (PLC, VFDs), hydraulics and pneumatics, and automation.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive safety and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and perform timely repairs.
• Coordinate with production and quality control to prioritize maintenance and ensure seamless operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and budget for maintenance operations.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (ISO, GMP, IATF).
• Utilize CMMS for work orders tracking, historical data analysis, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or modifications.
• Prepare detailed reports on maintenance performance, breakdowns, and cost analysis.

• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for work orders tracking, historical data analysis, and reporting.


• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (PLC, VFDs, motor controls), mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems), and automation.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
