The Manager I, Plant Process Improvement at Crown Americas LLC is responsible for leading and executing continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing plant. This role focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years in manufacturing with a process-improvement focus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Minitab or similar software.
• Experience in the metal packaging industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements across plant operations.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Develop and track KPIs for improvement projects.
• Train and mentor personnel on continuous improvement methods.
• Collaborate with management to align initiatives with business goals.
• Prepare and present project reports and savings to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety and quality standards in improvement efforts.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
