Essity is seeking an Operations Manager in Sahagún, Mexico, to lead process and maintenance teams within a busy tissue production facility. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost performance, while guiding continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional project execution.

The role requires a university degree in engineering and 5–8 years in industrial manufacturing, with strong TPM knowledge and English proficiency.

Formación

• University degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably tissue paper production or continuous processes.
• Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, manufacturing cost management, maintenance systems and operational processes.
• Proven leadership capabilities, with strong communication, collaboration, influence and coaching skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel and relocate when required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale targets for the operational area.
• Identify, eliminate and prevent unsafe conditions, fostering a strong safety culture across teams.
• Lead, coach and develop Process and Maintenance teams to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Manage operational budgets, resources, overtime and cost per-ton for maintenance and labor.
• Define and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency, reduce waste and optimize KPIs.
• Drive TPM implementation (AM–PM), root cause analysis (RCA) and structured daily management systems.
• Participate in savings, infrastructure and new product development projects in collaboration with local and global teams.
