Job summary

Intangibles Talent in Mérida, Mexico, is seeking a dedicated construction professional to support progress reconciliation, billing accuracy, and change management on active demolition projects.

You will bridge field reporting, drawings, and contractual scope to ensure accurate billing, timely identification of remaining work, and early recognition of scope changes. This role emphasizes field coordination and clear written narratives.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the construction industry (demolition, concrete, interiors, or similar trades).
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and demolition drawings.
• Experience with progress tracking, quantity takeoffs, or field coordination.
• Proficiency with labor, equipment, and disposal costs in time-and-material work. Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Review demolition drawings, revisions, addenda, and scope documents.
• Perform high-level progress takeoffs (directional accuracy ~80% acceptable).
• Reconcile superintendent-reported activity with drawings and contractual scope.
• Track new or revised drawings and identify changes impacting scope or sequencing.
• Summarize drawing changes in clear narratives (what changed and why it matters).
• Assist in developing time-and-material style change estimates using labor, equipment, and disposal assumptions.
• Identify partial completions, remaining work, and remobilization risks.
• Communicate with field superintendents to clarify scope, locations, and completion status.
• Provide billing readiness and change-impact summaries to project management prior to invoicing.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated construction professional to support project progress reconciliation, billing accuracy, and change management across active demolition projects.
