Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Mexico is seeking a senior planning leader to coordinate the site’s manufacturing planning activities and optimize production flow. You will develop the master production schedule, load it into the SNM ERP system, and drive planning strategies across purchasing, warehousing, and shop floor scheduling.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields, advanced English, and at least 5 years in planning leadership within high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced English required.
• Minimum 5 years in planning leadership roles in high-volume manufacturing, automotive, or metal-mechanical plants.
• Cross-functional SCM across Purchasing, Warehousing, and Shop Floor Production Scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning activities across the site.
• Direct inventory distribution to the production line.
• Drive planning management strategies.
• Develop master production schedule (MPS) and load into SNM ERP system.
• Lead staff to achieve materials P&L goals.
• Maintain scheduling performance reports and procedures.
• Interface with warehousing and purchasing to expedite parts.
• Develop and implement production control functions including Master Scheduling and Dispatching.

• Strong background in managing materials profit & loss (P&L) goals, shop scheduling, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning activities across the site.
• Manages, controls, and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
• Drives planning management strategies.
• Develop master production schedule (MPS) and load into SNM ERP system.
• Manages, controls, and directs staff to achieve materials profit and loss goals.
• Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods hold up performance and process procedures.
• Interfaces with warehousing and purchasing to expedite problem parts.
• In charge of the development and implementation of the company's production control functions incluiding Master
• Scheduling, production planning coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching.
