Flex Ltd in Guadalajara South is seeking a Planner Scheduler to support production planning by coordinating materials, capacity, and scheduling. The role involves preparing production plans, inputting data into the ERP system, and monitoring plan execution to ensure on-time delivery.

Collaboration with SCM and order desks is expected. The ideal candidate has experience in materials planning, production control, and demand forecasting, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of BAAN or similar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in materials, planning and supply chain.
• Intermediate English.
• Knowledge of production control and production planning.
• BAAN system or similar.
• BOMs materials and demand planning.
• Advanced Excel.
• Experience working with CFT teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production based on material and capacity availability.
• Prepare production plans and input planning data into the system.
• Monitor plan execution and take actions for deviations.
• Prepare long-term plans, forecasts (MPS) and KPI reports.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler on product life cycle and materials availability.
• Provide input to management and support SCM/Order Desk as needed.

Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability***What a typical day looks like:*** Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipments etc.), confirmation of the order.* Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group* Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations* Preparation of long term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast)* Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /Non-consumed demand, planned WO’s.* Preparing of Clean to build riports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing.* Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences* Preparing management and CFT specificated reports, monitoring of KPI’s /* Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.* Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.* Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.* Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
