MASS Precision, Inc. in El Salto, JA is seeking a Planner to coordinate production schedules, manage material availability, and prioritize work orders to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse and Customer Service; require ERP/MRP knowledge, strong organization, and 2–4 years of manufacturing experience. This is a day shift, full-time role with base+commission structure.

Formación

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze production data and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsabilidades

  • Create, maintain, and update production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
  • Review sales orders and production requirements to establish job priorities and due dates.
  • Monitor work orders and production progress to ensure on-time completion and shipment.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials and components are available to support production schedules.
  • Assist in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) activities and system maintenance.
  • Release and track manufacturing jobs through the production process.
  • Communicate schedule changes, shortages, delays, and priority updates to appropriate departments.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to resolve scheduling or material issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help maintain appropriate stock quantities.
  • Support cycle count and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed.
  • Review and maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Assist with expediting critical jobs and materials to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide schedule status updates.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and production efficiency.
  • Maintain company quality standards and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
