Clarios, LLC is seeking a Material Planner for an on-site manufacturing plant. The position is temporary with the possibility to become permanent based on business needs and performance.

You will plan direct materials, manage supplier PO activity, and ensure material availability to support production. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and ongoing process improvement in a global supply chain context.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in material planning, supply chain, or production control.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices (safety stock, min/max, MRP).
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• English proficiency (intermediate–advanced).

Responsabilidades

The Role

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

Material Planning & Execution

• Plan direct materials by creating and managing purchase orders with suppliers.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and components aligned with production requirements.
• Monitor and manage material supply from PO release to point of use.

Supplier Coordination

• Track and follow up on supplier purchase orders to ensure on-time and in-full delivery.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to resolve delays and supply issues.

Process Improvement & Systems Accuracy

• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within material planning processes.
• Maintain clean and accurate ERP/system data to support decision-making.
• Contribute to tactical planning initiatives to optimize material flow and inventory.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure alignment.
• Support interdepartmental initiatives that benefit plant performance and business outcomes.

• Inventory levels aligned with targets (optimized DOH, minimal excess/shortage).
• High supplier performance in terms of delivery time and volume accuracy.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in material planning, supply chain, or production control.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices (safety stock, min/max, MRP).
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• English proficiency (~85% or intermediate–advanced).

Preferred:

• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with production planning and supply chain optimization.
• Experience driving process improvements or CI initiatives.

Work Model & Travel Location

Manufacturing plant (on-site role). Work model: Primarily onsite due to operational requirements. Travel: Limited, depending on supplier or project needs.
