Responsibilities include maintaining standard costs, conducting reconciliations, and preparing audit reports. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience and advanced Excel skills.

Formación

Job Description

Cost and performance controlling professional with experience in standard costing, financial analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, inventory valuation, forecasting, reconciliations, and audit support. Skilled at translating financial data into clear insights that support business decisions, budget control, and operational performance improvement.

• Set and maintain standard costs for manufactured goods.
• Develop, review, and analyze cost standards to support accurate financial reporting.
• Establish and analyze costs related to administration, labor & burden.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare audit reports, document findings, and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Provide costing recommendations based on financial and operational data.
• Manage inventory revaluation and cost of goods sold analysis.
• Prepare material forecasts using historical trends and analytical data.
• Reconcile actual results against forecasts and budgets, including bridge analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience in cost accounting, performance control, or financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles and methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Proficiency in variance analysis and cost control procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual capability in Spanish and English is preferred
• CPA certification or relevant accounting certification is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting is a plus
