ZF Monterrey R&D Center is seeking a PCB Designer to design and support PCBs for automotive electronic products from concept through production, coordinating with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration.

You will work with ECAD tools including Siemens EDA Xpedition, review layouts, ensure signal integrity, EMC, and reliability; support prototypes, and liaise with manufacturing and suppliers to optimize cost and producibility.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or industry experience equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of ECAD tools and high-speed design practices.
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tool suite including Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink and Library Manager.
• Knowledge of PCB design cycles and DFx (Testing/Fabrication & PCB Assembly).

Responsabilidades

• Design and support printed circuit boards for electronic products from concept through production.
• Design and review PCB layouts and schematics to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support high-speed, high current, analogue, and mixed-signal PCB designs.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers for proper integration.
• Ensure designs meet signal integrity, EMC, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution.
• Liaise with manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure producibility and cost efficiency.
• Maintain design documentation, standards, and best practices.

The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application specific solutions for a variety of different automotive Steering, Braking, Suspension and Chassis Components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team!

Profile description

Your profile as a PCB Designer

• Experience of Siemens EDA Xpedition tool set including Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink and Library Manager
• Detailed knowledge on PCB Design cycle, Design for Testing / Fabrication & PCB Assembly
• Experience of multi-layer, sequential & HDI technology
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong logical approach to problem solving

• Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
