The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for participating in payroll processing, report generation, and account reconciliation.
Additionally, this role will lead payroll-related projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and compile reports on income, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and salary summaries.
- Ensure proper application of taxes in accordance with current regulations.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure payroll operations are carried out in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage records and validate withholdings for INFONAVIT credits (Retention, Modification, and Suspension Notices).
- Register withholding requests for FONACOT credits and provide supporting documentation.
- Administer deductions for Savings Fund loans and generate files for contributions, loans, and withdrawals.
- Calculate bi-monthly variables, integrated salaries, IMSS/RCV/INFONAVIT/FONACOT payments, and state payroll tax.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audits.
- Provide employee support regarding earnings and deductions.
- Calculate profit sharing and bonuses.
- Assist with weekly and bi-weekly payroll calculations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Experience with payroll systems (Tress preferred).
- Knowledge of SUA, IDSE, SIPARE, IMSS Virtual Desktop, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced English (preferred).
