Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• One year of experience driving 3.5 ton trucks; valid license for vehicle assigned; good driving record; 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages and documents, representing FedEx professionally.
• Operate non-articulated vehicles safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Inspect and report stop counts and miss-sorts accurately and timely.
• Seek additional business from current customers and inform sales of significant changes.
• Answer customer questions and keep them informed about FedEx services.
• Ensure proper labeling and complete paperwork for shipments and pickups.
• Determine legality and special requirements for dangerous goods and international shipments.
• Load and unload packages and operate ramp equipment; perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Maintain FedEx materials supply for shipping and uphold company image and safety.
