Job summary

Jabil, a global EMS leader, seeks a Product Engineer to oversee core manufacturing processes. You will understand the full manufacturing chain, implement improvements, train staff, and troubleshoot on the floor.

As a site engineering leader, you will facilitate other engineers and ensure excellence in the assigned process as directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Requires Advanced Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters, and 2–4 years of EMS experience.

• 2–4 years work‑related experience in the EMS or equivalent industry.

Responsibilities

The Product Engineer will be knowledgeable of the basic processes and facilitate other engineers at the site. This individual is also responsible for the implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting for the process being assigned in their facility. This position is assigned to an individual who has the profile to understand the scope of all the manufacturing chain process and the implications of each change and be considered to be a leader within the engineering team. The Product Engineer is responsible for ensuring excellence on the assigned manufacturing process, as determined by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Requires Advanced Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters in appropriate fields; 2 to 4 years work‑related experience in the EMS or equivalent industry; Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
