Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an OPEX FP&A Senior Analyst to join the Global OPEX COE. You will drive forecasting, reporting and analysis of OPEX costs, supporting business partners and senior FP&A stakeholders with timely insights.

Responsibilities include month-end close, variance analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc reports, leveraging SAP, Hyperion, EPM and BI tools to improve profitability and planning processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in OPEX.
• Forecasting and budgeting OPEX processes.
• General accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, costs recognition).
• Knowledge of media industry dynamics is a plus.
• CA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desired.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
• Self-starter and proactive approach.
• Strong IT affinity to drive digital FP&A with EPM, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Power BI

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual financial results vs forecast and discuss with Finance Director.
• Prepare accruals and cost forecasts; update related systems.
• Support month-end close with OPEX P&L analysis.
• Review actual spend with finance partners and budget holders.
• Summarize findings to support profitability discussions.
• Assist in monthly cost forecast submission and template updates.
• Support annual budget process with planning assumptions and business cases.
• Provide timely and relevant reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve FP&A processes.
