Job summary

Greif Packaging LLC is seeking an Operator Level I to join our manufacturing team in Jiutepec, Mexico. The role involves routine operation and maintenance of equipment, loading and unloading materials, and performing quality checks on products to ensure standards are met.

You will follow established safety rules and work under supervision to support production goals. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different plant tasks.

Responsibilities

• Routinely clean and lubricate equipment and keep the area free of debris.
• Operate machinery following directions and load/unload items on lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Routinely clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, ready or put away tools as assigned.
• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Performs routine property care activities.
• Performs any non-technical routine tasks at the plant.
• Routine quality checks on finished products.
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
