Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Mexico is seeking an Electrical/Technician to perform and document operational tests on equipment, validate specifications, and conduct insulation, continuity, and functional tests.
You will train and mentor team members, follow SEL safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. The role requires an associate degree in electrical/technician disciplines, basic English, and strong documentation skills.
Associate's Degree (A.S.) in Electrical/Technician related disciplines, Technician in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or relevant discipline Self-motivated with continuous desire to learn and find solutions Basic English (able to read drawings) Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)
Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Knowledge in the execution of tests in electrical panels Knowledge in electrical, mechanical and plating materials Able to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and functional diagrams Knowledge of quality tools and standards 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing
