Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks a technically skilled professional in Mexico to provide technical support to SEL staff and customers, develop knowledge of SEL processes, and perform testing on new and existing technology.

You will document and communicate test results, apply SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles, learn fast, and work cooperatively in a team to create simple solutions that improve reliability and safety of power systems worldwide.

Formación

• Experience with programming and scripting
• Knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Familiarity with emulators and logic analyzers
• Ability to use Windows and serial terminal software
• Knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers
• Proficiency with Visio
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and take on responsibilities
• Team-oriented collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers
• Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software
• Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers
• Ability to use Microsoft Visio
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
