Alstom in Merida, Mexico is seeking on-site installation personnel to perform signaling, telecom and low-voltage installation activities trackside, at stations and depots, under the guidance of Installation Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Mandatory: primary level education; desirable secondary level; minimum 6 months of on-site experience. Emphasis on EHS compliance, proper PPE, correct use of tools, and disciplined, team-focused execution of tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Execute specific installation activities according to design documentation and supervisor orientation.
• Comply with EHS procedures, maintain PPE, and alert supervisor of deviations or risks.
• Ensure correct tools calibration, understanding of drawings and work method statements, and proper material usage.
• Perform activities with quality and report any issues affecting safety, quality, or performance.
• Apply installation processes and follow project instructions.

Purpose of the Job

• Perform the execution of Signaling, Telecommincation and Low Voltaje Installation - trackside, stations and depots - according to Installation Supervisor and Team Leaders orientations and instructions
• Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations, and professional standardsORGANISATION

Main Responsibilities

• Execute specific installation activities according the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation / instruction
• Comply with EHS procedures and maintains PPE defined by EHS, make sure collective protections are in place, and alert the Installation Supervisor whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk
• Ensure has the right means to perform the installation:
  • Ensure tools calibration at all time
  • Understanding of drawings and Work Method Statement (WMS)
  • Ensure availability and usage of the necessary and right material
  • Accurate knowledge / training for performing the work
• Perform activities with quality: no deviation versus drawings and WMS
• Report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the performance of the work
• Apply the D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation activities

Performance measurements

• Quality of installation activities (Number of Punch Points)
• Productivity as per reference Library
• Issue of Red and Yellow drawing reports

Educational Requirements

• Mandatory: Primary level
• Desirable: Secondary level

Experience

• Mandatory: Minimum experience on site works: 6 months
• Desirable: Knowledge of EHS on site
