Job summary

ExxonMobil in Mexico seeks a Packaging Line Operator to run the lubricant packaging lines safely and efficiently, ensuring production plans, quality standards, and proper material usage, sustaining operation continuity.

You will perform filling, labeling, packaging, monitor production times, log data, maintain clean workspace, follow safety and environmental standards, and collaborate with operations to support production continuity.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work in a team and follow SOPs.
• Operative duties in an industrial environment.
• Attention to detail to identify deviations in quality and unsafe conditions.
• Willingness to rotate monthly between day and evening shifts.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging lines for lubricants following established procedures.
• Address minor jams and escalate when technical support is needed.
• Change inputs and packaging materials per production needs.
• Visually inspect finished product and identify defects.
• Perform filling, labeling, packaging and handling of lubricant product.
• Record production times, waste, and line stoppages.
• Keep operation logs and shift records up to date.
• Comply with production plan and schedule.
• Take product samples during filling for lab analysis and quality checks.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety, quality and environmental standards.

Operador de Línea de Empacado

Responsable de operar las líneas de empacado de lubricantes de manera segura y eficiente, asegurando el cumplimiento del plan de producción, los estándares de calidad, la correcta utilización de materiales y la continuidad de la operación.

What You Will Do

• Operar equipos y líneas de empacado de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.
• Dar atención a atascos menores escalando oportunamente situaciones que requieran soporte técnico.
• Realizar cambios de insumos y materiales de empaque según los requerimientos de producción.
• Inspeccionar visualmente el producto terminado e identificar defectos de calidad.
• Ejecutar actividades de llenado, etiquetado, empaque y manejo de producto lubricante.
• Monitorear y registrar tiempos de producción, desperdicios y paros de línea.
• Mantener actualizadas las bitácoras y registros operativos requeridos.
• Cumplir con el programa y plan de producción establecido.
• Tomar muestras de producto durante el proceso de llenado para análisis de laboratorio y verificación de calidad.
• Mantener orden y limpieza en el área de trabajo.
• Cumplir con los estándares de seguridad, calidad y medio ambiente de la planta.
• Trabajar en coordinación con las áreas operativas para asegurar la continuidad de la operación.
• Apoyar en otras actividades inherentes al puesto y requerimientos operativos del área.
• Apoyar en inventarios físicos y control de materiales.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Preparatoria o Bachillerato concluido.
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y seguir procedimientos operativos.
• Habilidad para realizar actividades operativas en ambiente industrial.
• Atención al detalle para identificar desviaciones de calidad y condiciones inseguras.
• Disponibilidad para rotar mensualmente entre turno matutino (06:00 a 14:00) y vespertino (14:00 a 22:00).
• Disponibilidad para laborar tiempo extra cuando sea requerido.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Experiencia en operación de líneas de producción o empacado en ambientes industriales.
• Experiencia en plantas de mezclado, manufactura o empacado de lubricantes, productos químicos o productos de consumo.
• Conocimiento básico de indicadores de producción, desperdicio y calidad.
• Facilidad de traslado al centro de trabajo.
• Disponibilidad para laborar de lunes a sábado.
• Experiencia en ambientes industriales con altos estándares de seguridad.
• Conocimiento básico de Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BPM) y metodologías 5S.
