Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist for on-site, per-event contracts in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. You will coordinate logistics, staff, and on-site operations to deliver high-quality experiences.

Fluent English and strong communication are required, with a background in event logistics, flexibility for nights/weekends, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Travel within the local region may be necessary.

Formación

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Based in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico.
• Contract per-event basis with schedule flexibility.
• Experience in complex, large-scale events.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all event details, shipping materials, and staffing. Be on-site hands-on during events.
• Join virtual planning meetings with partners and visit.org event host team.
• Set up, manage, and tear down events; ensure high-quality guest experience.
• Act as Visit.org representative, leader, and problem solver on-site.
• Manage check-in and guest welcome; escalate issues to Events Team when needed.
• Send updates, photos, and videos to Events Team; assist with post-event breakdown.
