Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist based in Monterrey, Mexico, to manage logistics for an in-person event. You will be on-site, coordinate materials, staffing, and guest experience while collaborating with corporate partners and nonprofit partners.

The role is a per-event contract with flexible hours to travel within the local region. You should have corporate event experience, strong customer service, and the energy to build in a startup environment.

Formación

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Based in Monterrey, Mexico.
• Contract-per-event basis, as needed.
• Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level events.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all event details, ship materials, and staff for each event; be onsite hands-on.
• Join planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofit partners, and Visit.org staff.
• On-site setup, alignment with team, tear down, and ensuring high-quality guest experience.
• Serve as Visit.org representative, leader, and problem-solver at events.
• Manage check-in process and welcome guests.
• Escalate issues to Events Team as needed and provide updates with photos/videos.
• Breakdown after event and ship materials back to distribution center.
• Pack supplies and print/attach shipping labels; load boxes as needed.
