Job summary

GSB in Monterrey is seeking an Environmental Consultant/Environmental Engineer to support the establishment of an environmental compliance framework for a new manufacturing facility. You will help identify applicable Mexican regulations and contribute to environmental assessments and management plans.

The role is onsite in Monterrey, with a 52-week contract. A 4+ year background in environmental management or regulatory compliance is required, along with strong analytical and teamwork skills;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant environmental management, consulting, or regulatory compliance experience.
• Knowledge of environmental assessments, monitoring, and environmental management practices.
• Knowledge of applicable Mexican environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the establishment of the environmental compliance framework for the new manufacturing facility.
• Assist in identifying and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and requirements.
• Support environmental assessments and monitoring activities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental management plans.
• Support environmental compliance initiatives throughout the plant's establishment and operations.
• Help identify environmental compliance gaps and support the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
