Job summary

Sequoia Connect is seeking an MX Environmental Consultant / Environmental Engineer to establish the environmental compliance foundation for our client's Monterrey assembly plant and oversee regulatory-aligned assessments and ongoing monitoring.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering with 4+ years in industrial environmental engineering or consulting, deep knowledge of Mexican regulations, and a high-performance, tech-informed mindset. On-site work option available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering is required or equivalent.
4+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering or consulting in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of Mexican environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
High-Performance Mindset: resilience, emotional intelligence, agile delivery.
Technologist DNA: understand difference between coding and engineering.

Responsibilities

Establish the environmental compliance foundation for our client's Monterrey assembly plant.
Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and continuous operational monitoring.
Ensure full regulatory compliance across all phases of plant setup and operations.
