Bosch is seeking a Resident Engineer to serve as the primary on-site technical liaison for Bosch Chassis Controls systems. The role requires rotation across multiple sites in Mexico and hands-on debugging, vehicle integration, and collaboration with OEM teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, software updates, engineering change management, and delivering customer-facing documentation. Strong communication,CAN knowledge, and 8+ years in automotive engineering are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/EE).
• +8 years of automotive experience.
• Experience with diagnostic tools.
• Experience with SW tools - programming, log file creation, engineering measurement tools.
• Past experience dealing with OEM customers and automotive EE components.
• Ethernet / CAN knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team oriented with hands-on problem solving.
• Strong customer/negotiation skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to manage daily activities independently.
• High energy and driven to succeed.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary on-site liaison between Bosch and OEM project managers.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to support location rotations across Mexico City, Hermosillo, Guadalajara and Plymouth.
• Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive open technical topics to rapid closure.
• Represent Bosch in key alignment meetings and debugging meetings.
• Troubleshoot and debug vehicles and test benches; capture vehicle log data.
• Perform hands-on vehicle integration tasks including flash-updating software and CAN debugging.
• Diagnose and generate log files for debugging on bench/vehicle tests.
• Support sales team with part flashing and delivery.
• Coordinate comprehensive vehicle updates across Bosch software and OEM systems.
• Own/support issue-resolution lifecycle via JIRA and changes through formal processes.
• Ensure software/calibration traceability through OEM and SPR release processes.
• Draft and contribute to critical customer-facing technical documentation.
• Support seasonal vehicle testing activities including travel and parts delivery.
