Corning is seeking a Quality Engineer III to join its Reynosa, Mexico manufacturing team. You will develop, implement, and sustain quality systems, lead APQP and NPI activities, and drive root cause investigations across production processes.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure successful product launches, robust quality performance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and ISO 9001 knowledge are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing product transfers, New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, and manufacturing transfers across multiple production sites.
• Experience leading or participating in quality improvement and project development initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, NPI, and AIAG Core Tools.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
• Project Management experience.
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Strong aknoledge in APQP and NPI - New Product Introduction
• Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet ISO 9001 and TL 9000 requirements
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions for process concerns
• Lead continual improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, lean methods)
• Develop training to build quality awareness
• Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth transfers of new products
• Support processes to ensure product and process compliance with QMS
• Create and maintain updated quality documentation
• Provide statistical analysis and support to engineering and production
• Lead team during Customer Notifications and close actions
• Participate in Process improvement porocess
• Internal/External ISO auditor experience
• Audit processes, systems
