Newell Brands is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer with manufacturing experience to lead new product introduction projects and drive manufacturing readiness for successful product launches.

This role combines NPI and Industrial Engineering responsibilities, serving as the key coordinator between Operations, Production, Quality, Planning, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality, productivity, and operational objectives.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading NPI/NPD projects or new product launches.
Strong Industrial Engineering and process improvement experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, 6S).
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project execution.
SAP and AutoCAD experience.
Intermediate to advanced English.

Responsabilidades

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI/NPD) projects from development through production launch.
Coordinate validation builds, pilot runs, and manufacturing readiness activities.
Drive project execution, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
Design and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project launches.
