A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled NOC Transport/DWDM Technician/Engineer who is passionate about optical transport technologies. This fully remote role in Mexico involves diagnosing and resolving advanced network issues while optimizing DWDM performance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in telecommunications and fluent English. Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting efforts, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring network integrity through proactive monitoring and performance analysis.

Formación

• Strong experience and knowledge of DWDM technologies and optical transport systems.
• Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining DWDM equipment.
• At least 1-3 years of previous NOC experience is required.
• At least 1-3 year of previous NOC experience is required.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) required.
• Experience providing NOC support with any of the following Transport Technologies Brand:

Responsabilidades

• Lead the resolution of critical and complex network outages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement improvements.
• Ensure transport network integrity through proactive monitoring.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DWDM and optical transport equipment (OTDR).
• Apply strong knowledge of optical transmission principles and network protocols during fault isolation and repair.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides and incident reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices in DWDM and NOC operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement improvements to the network.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for potential integration.
• Oversee deployment, testing, and validation of new optical transport systems and related infrastructure.
• Lead initiatives to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Design and implement proactive strategies to minimize service interruptions.
• Analyze network performance data and provide actionable recommendations for enhancement.
• Ensure transport network integrity through proactive monitoring and optical performance analysis.

Conocimientos

Strong experience and knowledge of DWDM technologies and optical transport systems

We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Transport/DWDM Technician/Engineer who is passionate about optical transport technologies and thrives on solving complex telecom challenges. This role plays a vital part in diagnosing and resolving advanced network issues, optimizing DWDM performance, and maintaining operational excellence across our transport infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams, leveraging your deep expertise to enhance network health, while serving as a trusted subject matter expert for internal partners and customers.

This is a fully remote position based anywhere in Mexico.

Responsibilities

Expert‑Level Troubleshooting

• Lead the resolution of critical and complex network outages and impairments.
• Develop and implement advanced troubleshooting methodologies for recurring issues.
• Conduct forensic analysis of network events to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DWDM and optical transport equipment (OTDR).
• Apply strong knowledge of optical transmission principles and network protocols during fault isolation and repair.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical guides and incident reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices in DWDM and NOC operations.
