A nearshore technology partner in Mexico is seeking a NOC Engineer to join their remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring systems, troubleshooting tier-1 issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through 24/7 support. Candidates should have experience in technical support, familiarity with monitoring tools, and advanced English communication skills. The position offers opportunities to grow within Cloud, Security, or DevOps paths.

Formación

Overview

Keep systems running, safeguard uptime, and join a global team! We’re looking for a NOC Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll be the first responder for incidents—monitoring systems, troubleshooting tier-1 issues, and escalating to the right teams to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule: This role requires participation in a 24/7 support rotation, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Previous experience in a tier-1 support or similar technical role.
  • Familiarity with monitoring & incident tools: Datadog, Site24x7, Opsgenie.
  • Awareness of security platforms (Lacework, Crowdstrike) in monitoring mode.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure, Apigee) and log tools (ELK).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk.
  • Advanced English and strong communication skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to identity management tools (Okta).
  • Interest in growing toward Cloud, Security, or DevOps paths.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor systems with enterprise tools (Datadog, Site24x7) and escalate as needed.
  • Follow runbooks to troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, and IT issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve processes and keep documentation up to date.
  • Support user access via identity management tools (Okta).
