Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking an exceptional SIEM Engineer to join our Managed Security Services team. You will implement and tune CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and LogScale, configuring logs, dashboards, alerts, and parsers to monitor diverse clients.

The role requires 4+ years of SIEM experience, hands-on CrowdStrike LogScale expertise, and strong incident response and threat hunting skills. You will collaborate with client teams, document procedures, and manage multiple engagements

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a SIEM Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale, including tool administration and CQL proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and Firewall concepts.
• Familiarity with data management platforms including Cribl.
• Familiarity with common log formats and regular expressions.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implement SIEM solutions with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and LogScale.
• Configure logs, ingestion, dashboards, parsers, and alerts.
• Support MDR/EDR/SIEM operations to detect and investigate events.
• Collaborate with client teams to design security monitoring strategies.
• Create and maintain security procedure documentation and reports.
• Develop queries using Falcon LogScale language to detect threats.
• Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
