O-I is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support the global LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and SASE infrastructure powering our manufacturing and office environments worldwide. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance and availability, maintain accurate documentation, and lead network projects including tech refreshes and lifecycle management across regions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing enterprise LAN, firewall, voice, and/or wireless network infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently within a global organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

As part of the Global Network Team, you will design, deploy, and support the network infrastructure that powers the O-I manufacturing and office environments worldwide. Your responsibilities will include maintaining LAN, wireless, voice, SD-WAN, and SASE solutions, contributing to global technology refresh initiatives, and collaborating with teams across multiple regions.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure supporting O-I’s global business
  • Troubleshooting network issues to ensure timely resolution and continuity of operations
  • Monitoring network performance and availability across O-I locations
  • Maintaining accurate, comprehensive documentation in accordance with Global Standards
  • Participating in on-call rotations to provide continuous support and rapid response to critical network incidents
  • Leading network infrastructure projects, including tech refreshes and lifecycle management initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing enterprise LAN, firewall, voice, and/or wireless network infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently within a global organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless network infrastructure in industrial or office environments, as well as troubleshooting issues with existing wireless systems, will be a strong asset

Candidates must be based within close proximity of an O-I office in one of the following areas:

  • Monterrey (Nuevo León)
  • Guadalajara or Zapopan (Jalisco)
  • Querétaro (Querétaro)
  • Toluca (Estado de México)
  • Los Reyes (Estado de México)
  • Nueva Fanal (Estado de México)
