Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Global CRM team in a remote role allowed for Mexico-based applicants. You will design, build and maintain full-stack applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and .NET, with AWS cloud deployments and database work.

You will work on tickets, write tests, document features, and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders, ensuring quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies including .NET.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

What can you expect from the position?

• Requirements are clear and ticket outcome defined
• Code follows best-practice, scalable and maintainable

Create or update documentation to enhance/strengthen future development/support

• Minimizes misunderstandings and mitigates defects
• Knowledge sharing within the team, and a reference for subsequent development

Build/execute Thorough Test Plans Ensuring Development Meets Requirements

• Test plans to consider positive and negative scenarios
• Understand the end-to-end transaction, upstream and downstream impacts

Communicate to technical and business stakeholders

• Clear on purpose, concise and factual
• Appropriate modes of communication e.g. use of Teams, Email or Meetings

We’re looking for someone with:
