A multinational electronics manufacturing leader is seeking a Technician SMT in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in testing and repairing circuits in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include performing various tests, interacting with engineering departments, and ensuring adherence to procedures. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred. This full-time position offers a mid-senior level opportunity within the engineering and information technology sector.

Formación

• 3+ years as a technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and repair of circuits preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tests from component level to the top system level.
• Interact with engineering and production departments.
• Test and repair boards and equipment in a timely manner.
• Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on specifications.
• Test and repair boards and equipment in a timely manner.
• Inform management of problems and possible improvements.
• Handle company assets and perform other duties as assigned.
• Additional duties as required.

Job Description

Technician SMT

3+ yrs as technician in a manufacturing environment

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform tests from the component level thru the top system level. Including environmental tests and final acceptance tests from established test procedures.
• Interact with the engineering and production departments.
• Maintain and adhere to test procedures.
• Decisions of acceptance or rejection on quality workmanship consistent with specifications.
• Test and repair of boards and equipment in a timely manner.
• Keep management and supervisor informed of problems, discrepancies, and possible product improvements.
• Take care of company assets and perform other duties as assigned.
• Miscellaneous duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Experience in the test, troubleshooting, and repair of digital and analog circuits to the component level preferred.
• Proficient at the following; ability to meet deadlines, taking directions and working independently.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Lifting of heavy test equipment and systems.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Bachelors in Engineering field.
• Oracle Knowledge.
