Job summary

Wipro Ltd. in Mexico City is seeking a MongoDB Administrator to manage deployments across development, QA, stage and production environments. You will install, configure and maintain MongoDB clusters, ensuring reliability and security.

The role covers replication, sharding, backups, performance tuning, indexing and upgrades, with exposure to Cloud Manager (MMS) for monitoring. You will create users and roles and collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of MongoDB administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of replication, sharding, and backup strategies.
• Experience with MongoDB security and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure MongoDB across development, QA, stage and production.
• Configure replication and sharding for scalable workloads.
• Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations.
• Tune performance using MongoDB utilities and indexing.
• Troubleshoot MongoDB issues and plan upgrades.
• Create users and roles and enforce security options.
• Monitor with Cloud Manager (MMS) for alerts and health checks.

Installation & Configuration of MongoDB in different environments like Development, QA, Stage and production.

Configure and maintaining Replication servers in MongoDB.

Configure and maintaining Sharding in MongoDB.

Perform backup and recovery operations.

Performance tuning using database utilities.

Experience in Index.

Perform MongoDB troubleshooting.

Database upgradation and Migration.

Creating Users and User defined roles in Mongo Database.

Experience in Mongo DB Security options.

Working with Cloud Manager(MMS) for Monitoring and Alarming.
