Latecoere México is seeking a Metrology Engineer to ensure the conformity of machined parts by performing geometrical inspections and testing in accordance with customer drawings. You will measure parts, maintain calibration records, and support other departments with metrology expertise.

The role requires strong English, at least five years of experience, and solid Excel and metrology equipment skills. You will work on-site in Hermosillo with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced English.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Confident with Excel.
• Confident with metrology equipment.
• Meticulous, rigorous, motivated, organized and have good teamwork attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Measure the parts to validate characteristics per drawing requirements.
• Update and maintain the tools, equipment, and tooling inventory subject to periodic verifications.
• Perform periodic on-site calibration checks and follow through the process.
• Organize and supervise the use, handling and storage of tools and equipment.
• Report dysfunctions and escalate to the Metrology coordinator.
• Provide metrology support to other departments.
• In charge of improvement projects either as responsible or as support if required.

The Metrology Engineer ensures the conformity of our machined parts by performing geometrical inspection and testing operations in accordance with customer drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measure the parts to validate characteristic according drawing requirements
• Ensure update and liability database of tools, equipment, machines and tooling subject to periodical verifications
• Ensure periodic on-site calibration checks, following up the entire process
• Organize and supervise the use, handling and storage of the tools and equipment
• Report to dysfunction and escalation to Metrology coordinator.
• Metrology support to other departments
• In charge of improvement projects either as responsible or support if required.
